Selected works of my photography on exhibit at Ruth Eckerd Hall

Jennifer Barbaro is currently exhibiting select pieces of her photography at the prestigious Ruth Eckerd Hall’s West Gallery in Clearwater Florida, September 24 through November 30, 2012.

The show is comprised of a select group of artists from  Exposed Elements Pop Up Art Group, the Tampa based collaborative that Jennifer co-founded, to further make art accessible to the public.

Artists are planning to have a meet and greet event sometime in November at the facility; Details to be announced. If you are at Ruth Eckerd Hall, please take the time to visit the West Gallery.

Welcome EXPOSED ELEMENTS POP UP ART MOVEMENT

I am 1 of the founders of a new pop up art movement, Exposed Elements, and am excited to introduce you!

Mission Statement:  A creative team of artists, residing in the Tampa Bay Area have collaborated to form Exposed Elements Pop Up Movement, bringing pop up art galleries to the community. The movement fosters real estate market revival while supporting local artists. Each of the unique Exposed Elements’ artists is dedicated to revitalization by creating and sustaining free venues in vacant commercial spaces for the purpose of displaying art, and bringing accessible art to the community.

Who: With the energy and resources of Exposed Elements, we are committed to exhibiting with unbridled creativity and without fear; the same way great art happens. We are artists, freely giving, without competition, lifting each other up as exhibiting artists in all stages of careers.

Who knows what will be exposed next; Just be sure YOU are there to experience it…

Motion XI Gallery Launch in IRB

Motion XI, an artist collaborative based in the Tampa Area of Florida, launched its first pop up art gallery November 18th, 2011 in Indian Rocks Beach. We were donated a vacant commercial real estate space for our two day event by Dr. Champ of Indian Rocks Beach who was happy to “Support local art.” We had a large turn out and positive feedback from the gallery visitors. Jennifer Barbaro of The Visual Planet exhibited selections of her photography, while other artists exhibited paintings and mixed media art.
